Mata Automotive was founded by Erce Kaslioglu in 2004.

With significant investment in recent years to meet the market demands for global manufacturing, Mata has expanded from the original sites in Istanbul, Türkiye to additional manufacturing locations in China, Mexico and Slovakia, as well as a state of the art R&D facility in Italy and regional teams located throughout the US and the UK. 

Since its inception, Mata quickly established itself as a cost-competitive and high quality supplier of decorative interior and exterior components in premium materials, including real wood, carbon fibre, aluminium and many others.

Mata holds all appropriate certifications and accreditations required within the Automotive industry and is well-placed globally to cater for specific customer and project requirements, whether these be on one off projects, or through to programs of over 300,000 vehicles per year.

Mata also recognises its responsibility to support the global reduction of CO₂ and targets to be “NET ZERO” by 2040. Current initiatives include the transition to different substrate technologies, the continued use of internationally recognised ‘certified’ decorative materials from specifically managed sources and the transition to water-based systems.

With a focus towards developing and evolving new and innovative décor solutions and in providing components manufactured to the highest visual quality and performance standards, Mata is able to successfully undertake the most complex and demanding projects to help turn our customer’s dreams into reality.
